Is it such a bad thing being single?
In the older days, people get married for stability, for children and someone to share with. In the older days, most women have no job and rely heavily on their husbands salary.
We are in the 20th century, alot of women are financially independent and want to be child-free.
So, why do we want to be in a relationship?
With 1 in 3 people get divorced, is it easier to just stop trying or keep trying until the one is found? (if there is such a thing as a soulmate ).
I am in my mid-30s and I think I am happy single. Sometimes, I do wonder and worried whether I will still be happy single in my 50s or my 60s. Shall I try to find the man (or marry any man) just for the possibility of being a miserable 50 year old? Or, is it more important to try to find happiness without a man. [:)]
I dont want to be like Charlie Sheen and I do think he lives an aimless and miserable life; but who knows? maybe he does enjoy himself.
Just some thoughts to share.. and answer to your Q. [:P]
