The USA government retirement system is better than Taiwan, I think
For some public jobs (or some bigger USA corporation) , say teacher, post office worker,fire fighter,etc also get company retirement plan -- which also pay some money per month after they retired.
Well, for someone born with Silver Spoon -- say some "sun or daughter" of money making company of Taiwan; or those who make more than 5 million Taiwan dollars per yearly, the USA $3000 per month retirement money is nothing to them.
The USA retirement information I never pay attention until recently I met someone who is 69 years old
told me that he is retiring next year and the whole story behind the USA social security and why he choose to retire at 70 years old.
I do not know much of Taiwan s retirement system, if someone knows it and like to share with me, please
let me know. Thanks a lot.
