same sex 同性婚姻合法化於24日晚間在州長葛謨簽字之後成為事實，從7月25日, 2011，起該法將正式生效，全美有不少同志打算前往紐約登記結婚。在26日的遊行上，有不少外州趕來的同志體驗這次隆重的遊行。有同志表示，「今年真是一個好年」，還有人表示要搬到紐約來結婚。紐約州的同志們除了參加有組織的遊行方陣外，還自發加入遊行，載歌載舞歡呼慶祝。
There were many people against the law, basically they think the law will destroy current family value. I am not a gay, but I think there are many reasons that same sex want marriage -- something related with Tax & Benefits of USA

Accept the difference, you do not need to agree others life style, faith, religion or any thing, but at least respect all have the right to its own.
Imagine if... your child is gay or lesbian, would you kick him/her out and disown them ? I hope not.
All is equal , has the same right even if different than your own belief.
