運動釣魚
Ever since I was in elementary school, I like sport, all kind of ball games, fishing, hiking, swimming, golf, ski….
I go fishing is for exercise, not for fish. Sometimes all day at beach or lake I catch nothing, but I still feeling good by looking at the ocean, lake, stream. Some fishing beginners they went fishing few times and did not catch fish, they give up, they think Fishing is no-fun. In USA, fishing is by using lure mostly, keep casting the metal or wooden lure and retrieve – it is a great exercise.
As to my Gf or Wife, you don’t need to be sporty. But, you must respect me go sporting event. I used to play tennis 3 -4 times a week, every time 3 -5 hours.
Everybody has different life style: Some people go to temple every weekend, some people go to church every weekend, some go to Casino every weekend, some play computer game every weekend (every day maybe for someone), some go to karaoke (Dance party) every weekend, …I go to sport related activity on the weekend mostly now. Sure, work will be the first priority, if I have to work on weekend, I consider運動釣魚 is critical to a healthy life.
At least two beginners that I met, asked me: “ You are not retired, why you go fishing….”. I replied: “ Ever since I was in elementary school,
I went fishing and catch fish constantly…”. The question seems stupid, but it tells me that most people judge thing by his or her own life experiences. Indeed, you don’t have to wait until you are retired to enjoy life: to fish, to sport, to travel, to casino, to temple/church, to eat, to do everything you like to do.
By the way, one of the person asked this silly question, he now becomes one of my fishing buddy – after he caught a lot of fish (one day more than 100 pounds) with me, and he also not retired as of today, ha, ha.
Respect, Respect, Respect…is the key to have good relationship with others… whatever the choice of interest you like to do, please respect other’s choice….

Most people judge thing by his or her own life experiences... this is true, for example, a TW friend used to ask me: "Isn t that planting roses & gardening... should be a retired people doing?....; I would like to say is: I maybe the very last person to do the gardening work -- not until friends gave me Irish, Roses,... to plant. Environment is different in USA, almost everyone s house has yard & garden, doing gardening is a must!
