“Beautiful rice grain” is an aboriginal song that I listened from a concert. Last week, I saw the green rice lands when I went to Chiayi by THSR. This scene made me recall this song. No wonder the composer could create so touching melody. I haven’t seen the so broad rice ground for a long time. I remembered when I was a university student; I had ever seen the rice land nearby my campus. At that time, there were rice and sugar cane lands in the neighborhood. I always remembered a joke from my classmate who was from Taipei. He asked me why the rice grew so tall. I answered him, because it was not rice, but sugar cane.
I watched a column which is about the founder of Cloud Gate. He had ever put the green rice plants on the stage. All audiences were much moved by the scene. So the natural things sometimes give us more insights.
